Group savings goals

Save towards a shared target such as a trip, a wedding, rent or school fees, with fair splits and confirmed progress.

Example: a ₦1,000,000 trip for five friends

With an equal split, each friend commits ₦200,000. Saving weekly for 20 weeks, that is ₦10,000 a week each.

If an amount does not divide evenly (₦1,000,000 between three people, for example), Tovajo splits it to the exact kobo: one member commits ₦333,333.34 and two commit ₦333,333.33. Everyone sees their exact amount before agreeing, and nothing is lost to rounding.

Who receives the money

Every goal names its beneficiary or payout destination up front. Changing it later needs the group's approval.
