Run your Ajo, esusu or adashe with an agreed payout order, a shared schedule and an honest record of every contribution.

A worked example

Five friends each save ₦1,000 daily, and one of them receives the pot every seven days.

• Each member pays ₦7,000 per payout period, so each payout is ₦35,000.
• The full rotation takes five weeks, with one payout to each member.
• Over the cycle each member pays ₦35,000 and receives ₦35,000 once, if everyone pays in full.

The risk you should know about

In any rotating savings group, a member who receives an early payout could stop contributing afterwards. Tovajo records missed contributions, shows shortfalls to the group and applies the rules you agreed, but Tovajo does not guarantee contributions and does not cover shortfalls with its own money or other groups' money. Only join circles with people you trust.
